Dr Anny Fodor

A lifelong learner, Anny has acquired and refined many skills through her life.

Recently adding Chinese medicine to a 25 year history of shiatsu and body work, dance and movement, wellness coaching, qigong and mindfulness practices. Anny’s sessions have the potential to cover much territory.

Anny is able to work with your whole self, regardless of your main concern. Whether chronic pain, digestive issues, trouble waking up in the morning, grieving loss, side effects from drugs, she has a way of allowing the healing process to be gentle yet deep and consistent over time.

Although born and raised in Melbourne, Anny spent 20 years living away. A year in New York studying at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) becoming a certified holistic health coach. Istanbul, Turkey for 14 years where she developed her skills working with food as medicine as a personal coach, running her own café and residential program as well as consulting on menu’s for other cafes.

For most of the years living in Turkey however, she had a private practice with Shiatsu as the main focus. She has a gift for touch. Having studied Shiatsu, Thai massage, Body Weather Training (Japanese avant-garde theatre, Butoh) with some influence from cranio-sacral therapy, and various other healing modalities, Anny’s style is unique and can be deeply profound.

Her life’s work has been, and continues to be an investigation into the the fine balance of wellness.
