The Yin Palace is a gathering of women, exploring yin practices to cultivate the feminine in all her facets, through any stage of her life. Working with qigong, somatic and nervous system practices, self massage, and creative expression, we gather to remember and cultivate our inner power.
This is a place to set down your bags. Not another item on your to do list. A place to be nourished.
Spring is stirring, blossoms and winds rising after the dormancy of winter, yang beginning to rise. Women in particular need yin to support and nourish that rising movement. Culturally we're yang addicted, focussed on getting shit done, the next task.
We'll tend to what's been running on empty. Through gentle body-based practices, we'll build capacity to meet the wild changes of life. Qigong, somatic work, together - not alone.
This is a call to women to know they carry a wellspring of wisdom within them. An afternoon to tune in, so you can meet your world, whatever you're holding. Health concerns, family, overwhelm that's real whether it's yours or someone else's. We're all holding so much.
When we're nourished, everything else gets easier. We've just forgotten that, buried under a culture that says keep going, keep producing, dopamine over everything.
Women together build confidence in a spirit of acceptance, not competition. We run on oxytocin, not dopamine. We literally need connection, whether we know it or not.
And we need tools to navigate the current big winds of change happening everywhere, not just to sit quietly and meditate. We're being called to agency.
You'll walk away reconnected to yourself. And that connection becomes a conduit, you’re your partnerships, your children, your work.
